The Flemington Rotary Foundation was recently established in 2017 and was organized exclusively for the charitable and educational purposes of the Rotary Club of Flemington. Classified as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization, the Flemington Rotary Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees that provides Rotarians an opportunity to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty at an international to local levels.
At the international level, funds are provided for worthy causes such as eradicating polio, fighting hunger, reducing child mortality, promoting peace and conflict resolution and basic education and literacy. At the local level, funds are provided to local charities such as the Flemington Food Pantry and for annual student scholarships for Hunterdon Central Regional High School and Hunterdon County Polytech Career & Technical School Graduating Seniors.
The Flemington Rotary Foundation welcomes individuals and corporate donations to help Rotarians address their mission to support world and local needs. As a 501(c)(3) corporation, 100% of all donations made to the foundation are tax deductible to the maximum extent of the law and are used only for charitable purposes and fundraising activities.
