COMPETE FOR THE TITLE “BEST SOUP IN HUNTERDON COUNTY” YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS FIGHT HUNGER IN HUNTERDON
The annual Hunterdon County Soup cook-off is a community awareness project of the Rotary Clubs of Hunterdon County, dedicated to helping people in our community. All event proceeds will be donated to the Food Pantries of Hunterdon County.
Be one of 20 restaurants to enter this much-anticipated event and help the Rotary Clubs of Hunterdon County fight hunger in Hunterdon.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
Hundreds of soup lovers countywide will attend the event at the Hunterdon Central Regional High
School Commons located at 29 Junction Road, Flemington, NJ on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Their admission fee of $15.00 and a food donation to the Food Pantry entitles them to sample size cups of any entered soups, plus the opportunity to vote for their favorite. At the end of the evening, two trophies will be awarded, one for PEOPLE’S CHOICE and one for JUDGE’S CHOICE, and each champion will have the honor of displaying the coveted SOUPER BOWL TROPHIES in their restaurant for the year. An additional award will be presented for the BEST VISUAL PRESENTATION so be creative in your table presentation.
NO ENTRY FEE
Simply arrive at the Commons with 10 gallons of your fully prepared soup and the equipment you need to keep your soup ready to serve. We’ll provide an undraped 3 x 6 table, two electrical outlets, cups and spoons.
PROMOTE YOUR RESTAURANT
Be sure to have promotional materials and displays to promote your restaurant. The Rotary Soup Cook-off will be heavily publicized in countywide print media, on local radio stations and will be blogged by news providers. Early registrants will also be cited in pre-event publicity.
ENTRY DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 2, 2024
A limit of 20 participating restaurants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. One soup entry per restaurant.
